LT40, a compact yet strong linear motor for build-in OEM applications, delivers predictable sub-micron, direct-drive motion without backlash. The motor delivers precision far beyond what a conventional stepper motor and lead screw can muster. Full force power-off locking is a safety function inherent to the design.

    LT40, a compact yet strong linear motor for build-in OEM applications, delivers predictable sub-micron, direct-drive motion without backlash. Resolution extends to single nanometer level or below. Since gear-heads and linear screws are not needed, the overall size is reduced, allowing LT40 to fit in spaces often too small for other motors. In place, it delivers up to 40 N force while its friction drive ensures full-force, power-off locking. Piezo LEGS® technology is ideal for any ‘move-and hold’ application able to benefit from high precision, instant response and low power consumption.
