These are our drive electronics for the Piezo LEGS® range of rotary and linear precision motors. Our motor control units come in many different versions, with controllers and amplifiers for laboratory use as well as for integration into OEM devices.
A versatile standalone packaged controller unit with inbuilt functions to operate Piezo LEGS® motors in closed loop (target mode) or open loop with sub-nanometer resolution. Multiple units can be easily chained to form multi-axis systems with host communication over serial RS485. An external motion controller may control the speed via SPI or analog interface.
A fully featured miniature closed loop controller board that can be easily stacked to form a multi-axis system. It provides resolution in the sub-nanometer range. Can also be used as a servo amplifier together with an external motion controller.
The DMC-30019 is a one-axis PID controller for use with Piezo LEGS® motors. It is based on technology from Galil Motion Control, and allows for advanced contouring, speed control, and programming of 1000 lines of custom code.
The PMD206 is 6-axis controller for industrial use, providing sub-nanometer resolution to the Piezo LEGS® motor. Closed loop positioning is possible with feedback from position sensor. The unit is using one communication line to address one or multiple axes by serial ASCII commands.
